Theres a classic scene from WKRP in Cincinnati where the station switches to a rocknroll format and an excited Johnny Fever says BOOGER! into the microphone. Fever had been fired from a station in Los Angeles for saying the word on-air. Well, the Junos are here and Im having a minor Fever moment. As a reporter, every story is based on truth. But now, for a few days of Juno madness, therell be a little departure from that. So BOOGER! Here are some genuine Juno rumours: * Nickelbacks Chad Kroeger is here and being gracious with gratuities. * Madison Violet nominated for group roots and traditional album of the year have not arrived yet due to the weather. * Also waiting to land are thousands of dollars in diamonds that Mark Lash known as Canadas jeweler to the stars will be lending to Melanie Berry, President and CEO of The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) and a number of nominees for Sundays awards gala. * Bryan Adams has been in town for a few days. * Spotted rocking out to Hey Rosetta! last night Deputy Mayor Shannie Duff. If you see someone or something over the next few days, let me know and Ill post it. Use a valid e-mail address and get a chance to win the bags of swag I keep kicking with my leg.
