Leave it to Bieber

The red carpet on Gower Street is over, with thousands screaming to see St. John's city council!

OK, that was an attempt at humor, but we all know nothing funny happens at city hall.

The thousands were there, of course, to see some of the Canadian music stars here for the 2010 Juno awards.

Justin Bieber, the teen who has become an international pop sensation, was the biggest attraction.

Click here to hear and see what happened as he took his stroll on the rouge rug.

Besides Bieber, dozens of other Canadian music stars were there, including Barenaked Ladies, Great Lake Swimmers, Billy Talent, Metric, Drake, Johnny Reid and Great Big Sea.

One young girl, Ally Farr, drove all the way in from Grand Falls-Windsor this morning and managed to get an excellent spot on the red carpet.

She also managed to get Bieber's autograph and to tell the singer she loved him.

He told her he loved her, too.

Not surprisingly, the 13-year-old can't wait to get to school tomorrow morning.

And that's exactly what music is all about.
