Steve Maloney is a young singer-songwriter whose “vocal abilities, musical chops and laid-back songs have no shortage of potential” (Kevin Kelly, The Herald). Throughout his short career Steve has taken the stage to open for many well-respected local groups, including Matt Hornell and the Diamond Minds, Repartee and Hey Rosetta! He has also supported groups visiting from away, including Lou Canon, Ingrid Gatin, Demetra Penner, Woolly Leaves and Steve Gates. A demo recording is in the works, with an expected release date in the spring of this year along with a short summer tour. Steve was recently featured in both the Scope’s “Best New Music” of 2011 and the Herald’s “Artists to Watch” in 2012. CLICK HERE to listen to Steve’s “In Spring”.
