Snook's new CD featuring 20 parodies of classic Christmas songs is in stores now.
The album, called "Right Price, Easy to Mail," is the follow-up to 2004's "My Gift, Someone Else's Money."
"Figure I might as well get right to the point," said Snook, a character developed by Pete Soucy.
"This is the thing, if you're looking for something to get everybody that's living away, or even everybody that's living here."
As for the songs, the titles come first, then they write themselves, he says. So far he's received positive reactions to the new material, especially from his best friend, Dougie.
"Oh Dougie likes it all, b'y. Dougie likes anything that's shagged up. He likes me ruining anything."
Snook, who sings on the album, is backed up by Sandy Morris, Bill Brennan, George Morgan, Larry Foley, Paddy Moran and Wayne Hynes.
"I got some wicked Newfoundland musicians," he said.
Snook will be giving a live performance of these new carols and more at Another Snook's Christmas Concert on Dec. 12 at Holy Heart Theatre in St. John's. Guests include the Punters, Jim Payne and Fergus O'Byrne and Julia Halfyard.
