Eaglesmith to play The Ship

Juno Award-winning singer/songwriter Fred Eaglesmith will play at The Ship pub tonight and Friday. With a musical career that has lasted more than three decades, Eaglesmith — who has had his music covered by country artists like Alan Jackson, Toby Keith and Miranda Lambert — has 19 albums under his belt, including his latest: 2012’s “6 Volts.”

Special guest for the shows is Colleen Power.

Tickets are $25 and are available at The Ship and Fred’s Records. Tonight’s show starts at 9 p.m., while Friday’s begins at 10:30 p.m.
