Alongside the introduction of the sensational LaFerrari supercar at the Geneva motor show last week, Ferrari announced a more intensive relationship with computing giant Apple for its in-car infotainment systems.

It all follows on the heels of Apple executive Eddy Cue having joined Ferrari chairman Luca Di Montezemolo on the Italian carmaker's board of directors back in November of last year, with the first fruits of the new relationship being a pair of iPad Minis added to the rear seating area of the FF coupe. Additionally, Apple's Siri voice recognition software will be used for the infotainment system.

Is this merely a cooperative relationship between two of the world's strongest brands or could we be witnessing something more comprehensive? Only time will tell, but for the time being the Ferrari FF becomes the coolest place you could ever hope to play Angry Birds.
