As part of Infiniti's campaign to popularize the arrival of its new JX concept crossover vehicle this August, Infiniti has released another teaser image of the 7-seat crossover on its Facebook page. The teaser image is a close-up of the vehicle's taillight. When combined with a previous side profile shot as well as a close-up photo of the headlight, the overall design is slowly starting to take shape. The JX crossover will make its world debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November before the production version comes to market as a 2013 model.

"The all-new Infiniti JX crossover will allow us to continue to expand the Infiniti brand's presence in the Americas," said Carlos Tavares, chairman, Nissan Americas.

Before the JX production model breaks cover in Los Angeles, the concept version will be introduced on August 18th at the 2011 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. The Pebble Beach event is a showcase of the world's most beautiful automobiles, so the pressure is on for Infiniti to ensure the JX isn't an ugly duckling in a sea of resplendent swans.

Infiniti's Facebook page,, now features the company's "Power of 7" campaign which contains the latest updates on the JX crossover vehicle. Another teaser image of the JX will be uploaded on Thursday the 21st of June, and the uploading trend will continue for the next several weeks.

"There aren't a lot of choices for luxury families today. The all-new Infiniti JX is the 7-passenger antidote to the ho-hum luxury crossovers that are out there right now," said Ben Poore, Vice President of Infiniti Americas. "The Infiniti JX will have a stunning interior, while offering exceptional seating flexibility, easy access to the roomy third row, plus the latest in-vehicle technology – including next-generation telematics. A fitting addition to our line, it will challenge the status quo in its class."
