The truly unique elements of the car you see before you have little to do with Lexus, other than riding on the brand's high-tech CT 200h hybrid electric.

While it's easy to see the customized modifications made to sheet metal and body cladding that include a radically deep Five Axis front fascia, equally imposing Five Axis custom widebody fender flares, and unique Five Axis rear end styling plus very non-Lexus Satin Aluminum paint with Black Chrome and Orange accents (actually every panel on the car was modified), not to mention FIVE:AD S7:F 19x8.5-inch alloy rims wrapped in 235/40ZR19 Yokohama Advan Sport performance rubber that masque a Stoptech high performance big brake kit with four-piston opposed, fixed, bolt-in-bridge calipers and cross-drilled rear rotors, plus a TEIN Flex coilover suspension system upgrade, it's what's inside that truly counts in this tuning job.

Specialty prototype and design firm Five Axis has reworked this particular CT 200h with a completely revised infotainment system that might make you want to give up the stock model's top-line infotainment system. Five Axis chose Pioneer as its technology partner due to a longstanding partnership and the aftermarket electronics brand's new iPhone 5 connectivity solution.

Anyone who's purchased an iPhone 5 will no doubt find this bit of news interesting, as aftermarket options for Apple's new eight-pin Lightning connector are few and far between. The new system is Pioneer's AVH-X8500BHS Multi-media DVD receiver with a seven-inch touchscreen display, MIXTRAX, Bluetooth, HD Radio, and SiriusXM capability. It allows users to connect numerous electronic devices including their new iPhone 5 smartphones and any Android devices, while sound comes via Pioneer's TS-D1720C 6-3/4-inch component speaker package, Pioneer's TS-D1702R 6-3/4-inch two-way speaker, the same brand's PRS-D800 (X6) Class FD two-channel amplifier (150W X 2 RMS, 600 W max) and its TS-SW2501W4 (X2) 10-inch shallow subwoofer (4-Ohm).

Surrounding the infotainment system are specially made seats with Ultrasuede EcoDesign laser-etched inserts and Satin Gunmetal accents, an Ultrasuede EcoDesign headliner, piano black accent trim and 3M crystalline window film.

The Five Axis Pioneer CT 200h debuted at the 2013 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) earlier this year, and continues to showcase Five Axis design and Pioneer's leading edge technology at auto shows.
