What to do? The GT3's 435-horsepower and GT3 RS' 450-hp isn't enough to satisfy your need for speed and you just don't want your 911 with all-wheel drive so the 530-hp Turbo S is out? How about a GT2? But not just any GT2 will do, mind you, when there's an opportunity to buy one of 500 GT2 RS models.

The weight is down 69.8 kilos (154 lbs) to 1,370 kilograms (3,020 lbs), combined with a gargantuan 620 horsepower via a twin-turbocharged 3.6-litre engine. That makes the GT2 RS the most powerful model to ever leave its factory, capable of zero to 100 km/h in a mere 3.6 seconds. But hold on, that's 0.3 seconds slower than the less powerful 911 Turbo S, likely due to the latter car's increased grip via all-wheel drive. Still, the new GT2 RS tops out at 330 km/h (205 mph) and manages a 7:18 time around the famed Nürburgring racetrack.

While 90 horsepower more than the previous version, the GT2 RS is 5 percent more efficient.

Lightening things up is a set of special 10-spoke wheels on exclusively constructed tires for ultimate grip, and carbon fibre bodywork. The interior features black and red Alcantara upholstery, and other unique upgrades.

Word has it the car will make its auto show debut in Moscow, and will cost $245,000 USD when it arrives in October.
