I have to be honest it has been a struggle to get any real training in while on holidays. I would like to say it is because I have been travelling a lot around Sask and Manitoba which is true but we have been fairly stationary in Brandon since Friday and I only managed one run see it here http://runkeeper.com/user/GerryCarew/profile
The weather was about 28 degrees and I did find it hard as that is the warmest temp I have run in since my Tely 10 quest began. I have heard that the temperature in St. John's has risen dramatically since we left two weeks ago so I look forward to running in the heat and humidity of home. This will give me a better feel for the race day conditions. I am planning to run the full race course again Sunday morning so that will be the real test for me. Last time it was 5 degrees and I had a 50km/hr tailwind. I look forward to getting back into the routine of home and I recognize I will only have one week when I get home for final preparations. Looking forward to it.
