Anthem singer and crowd team up in memorable Herder moment

Who says senior hockey can't move you?

Prior to tonight's Game 4 of the Telegram Herder Memorial Championship Series, Victoria Winsor, the C.B.N. CeeBee Stars official anthem singer took to the ice to perform the national anthem and the Ode to Newfoundland.

Near the end of O' Canada, Winsor's microphone went dead. Undaunted, the plucky singer forged on and belted it out without aid from the PA system but with the help of the audience.

On to the Ode, Winsor started singing loud and clear and the crowd was right there with her. Wow!

Several people have remarked since how moving it was, many attesting to having goosebumps.

Only in Newfoundland.
