[Professional Blog] Charges dropped

Insufficient evidence against CBC reporter

Published on November 30, -1

N.L. court drops charges against CBC reporter

Charges against a CBC reporter in Labrador were dropped on Friday.

Paul Pigott, who reports for CBC Radio, had faced two charges including criminal harassment.

In provincial court on Friday in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, the Crown dropped all charges.

There was not enough evidence to take the case to trial, the Crown said.
