Ten community newspapers in this province have won a total of 21 awards in the 2008 Better Newspapers Competition, presented by the Canadian Community Newspapers Association.
There are several award categories, which are divided into subcategories based on circulation numbers. I won't attempt to write anything definitive here, outside of a list of winners, because the web site doesn't offer any detail either.
However, I do invite all of the winners especially those who won for a specific article or editorial to post a link to the relevant text, wherever it is available online. Now that would make this an interesting post indeed.
