John Gushue wins the Headlines Hijinks prize

Congratulations to John Gushue of CBC Newfoundland and Labrador, who correctly answered Tuesday's Headline Hijinks quiz.

John guessed that the entire bank of headlines all took place in June of 1988. He, and most other entries, had it right. Perhaps the hints were a little too easy.

As promised, John wins a small Jellybean Row piece of his choice. Thanks everyone for entering, and I welcome suggestions on future games...
