In the Media Person Halloween Costume Contest!
I just noted that one of my facebook friends, a local media personality, says she is going to dress as Hebron this Halloween.
That's pretty funny, and I am dying to see how one dresses as an oil-bearing geological formation, deep inside the earth. However, this person is quite creative, so I wait with anticipation.
And I just found out that another journalist is going to dress as Zombie Palin!
Which got me to thinking: why not launch a Media Person Halloween Costume Contest!
I am inviting all reporters and people who work in the media who dress up for Halloween to email me photos of their costumes.
I will run them on my blog soon after Halloween.
The first prize will be one large Jellybean Row piece of your choice, plus you can take me to lunch at your favourite restaurant!
Actually, the second part is optional. If you decline, I won't be hurt. But the first prize is actually quite nice.
So get those cameras clicking, and be sure to send your photos to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Contest rules: This contest is open to all reporters, editors, hosts, columnists and other media types across the province. Please email photos to address above no later than Sunday, September 2 to qualify, as I'd like to get the winners up the Monday after Halloween. The Lunch with Geoff component of the prize is optional, but, if accepted, winners agree to come armed with plenty of media gossip.
