A number of months back, midget-aged hockey player Shayne Morrissey's father Cyril sent me a link to a video in which his son scores a completely sick trick shot goal during an Xtreme Hockey School camp at Capital Hyundai Arena in St. John's.

Well Shayne has entered his video into a contest TSN is putting off called "The Advil Highlight of the Month" and he needs your votes to help make him one of 10 finalists who'll each receive $1,000, have their video broadcast on TSN, and be entered into an online competition where the most votes nets the winner $25,000.

Open, click on the thumbs-up icon, close it, and do it again. And again and again. I voted 28 times this afternoon. So far, Shayne has 2,689 thumbs-up. He trails another video — a terribly dull one of some 15-year-old flying through a bobsled run — by about 500 votes.
