It wasn’t all speeches and celebration at the PC Party annual general meeting in Gander over the weekend. On Saturday afternoon, party members sat down to talk policy.
Party members passed a total of eight policy resolutions, covering diverse issues such as foster parenting, the sealing industry, aquaculture, search and rescue, and fracking.
Every single policy resolution was passed unanimously.
I don’t know if these policy resolutions will end up getting posted on the PC Party website, so I figured I’d go ahead and scan them so you can read ‘em hot off the presses.
Here are the eight policy resolutions that were endorsed wholeheartedly by the membership of the PC Party over the weekend: http://imgur.com/a/Ka3Kz.
Sadly, after 90 minutes of debate, party members ran out of time. They were unable to get to one resolution that was close to my heart personally: “Blue Book Implementation.”
Here’s the resolution that PC Party members never got the chance to debate (http://i.imgur.com/qear1Bj.jpg) and in case you need a refresher, here’s a bit of background information on why I was looking forward to this debate in particular.
