Offered without comment, here's a little excerpt from the House of Assembly this week.

This quote comes from the Honourable Kevin O'Brien, minister responsible for persons with disabilities.

“You would have to be blind, deaf, or something of that sort not to see exactly what we have done in this Province.”

For the full context, check out Monday's Hansard.

Mr. McLeod's comment on On Point Saturday night "There is people" shows he could use a few English lessons before he puts that bow tie on again.

Very disappointing comments by the Minister Responsible for the Status of Persons Disabilities. In a conversation with him this morning I stated my disappointment to him and the need for him to apologize for these comments. He was quick to acknowledge the misstep, expressed his regret and would be making an apology. Such comments can't be tolerated and most especially from the Minister Responsible for Persons with Disabilities.
