The police in Hopedale are investigating a possible arson at a construction site after responding to the report of a fire Tuesday.
Several vehicles and construction materials sustained about $500,000 worth of damage in the blaze.

The RCMP investigation continues and Thursday night there will be a public meeting planned at the school in Hopedale to meet with area residents to discuss the investigation and solicit any information which may help in the investigation.

If anyone has information on the cause of the fire, they should contact the RCMP or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
