Why dont they tell us about the statistics, like the % of healthy people on ventilators vs undelying conditions. I will tell you why. Because, if they let on that this is serious, there will be a stampede for a vaccine that they don't have. So, keep lying to the public guys.

Comparing HIV and H1N1 is so far out of whack that your statement shows just how foolish you really are. You really need to be sitting in class with the grade five kids since you were not able to retain a thing up to this point in you life.

Silly comments like yours are the reason people are running to these lines putting those at the highest risk in further danger by taking vaccine which was not for you.

People are going to catch this no matter what steps we take at this time. Do you really expect people to stop day to day lives for weeks on end? Maybe you want to stay home and have no access to food and supplies or an income, but I doubt many will follow your lead. People will do what they need to do based on what is best for them and nothing more.

I don't think he was saying stay home when you are well. I think he is saying don't stay home a day or two when you are sick. If you aren't feeling well stay home! You know you are sick, don't spread it. I think he was saying if you have HIV you aren't going to go have sex.

Fact is, you are contagious the day before symptoms show and for 8 days after. So, taking a day or two off work is NOT good enough. You need to isolate yourself and avoid people. Going to work, school, gym, etc is no different than having relations with someone if you had HIV. You know you have it, so don't spread it! Spreading it is basically assault that could lead to someone elses death.

They're not telling who of the people on ventillators is healthy vs underlying health conditions because then people will realize it's mostly unhealthy people. It's just a normal flu where people die all the time from complications, and not something that is going to strike down dead everyone that gets it like the media is protraying it as.

Forget the H1N1 vaccine for a moment , what is the situation on ventilators and alternate combat drugs in this province ? Will there be those who need a ventilator that will have to tough it out without one ?I am not being an alarmist but I have carefully noted no reference to our supply at the moment .
