Search and Rescue called to MV Arctic Blizzard for medevac

A Canadian Forces Cormorant helicopter from 103 Search and Rescue Squadron in Gander and a CC-130 Hercules from 413 Squadron in Greenwood, N.S., are curently carrying out a medevac of two crewmembers on board the MV Arctic Blizzard.
According to a release, the crewmembers are reported to be suffering from injuries sustained during rough seas.
The ship is located approximately 90 nautical miles east of St. John's.
The crewmembers will be airlifted to the Health Sciences Centre in St. John's. More details will be posted if and when they become available.
