Pre-budget consultations to wrap up today

Finance Minister Tom Marshall will wrap up pre-budget consultations today in St. Johns.

The minister has been holding the sessions all over the province since the middle of January.

The original full-day consultation for the capital, scheduled for earlier this month, was canceled due to a snow storm.

This morning, 27 groups and individuals made presentations to Marshall at the Battery Hotel, telling him what they would like to see, and what they dont want, in the upcoming provincial budget.

The final public consultation will wrap up this afternoon.
