Where there's smoke, there's roadwork

I live a stone's throw away from this intersection, and this is one place that would have been better-suited to an evening repair. Traffic was backed-up both ways on Military Rd., coming up Prescott St., Queen's Rd., and Rennie's Mill Rd. The only traffic direction that wasn't really affected was Monkstown Rd. itself. Making Military Rd. right-turn-only at 4:00 - 5:00 in the afternoon isn't a wise move, though I suppose the City would rather do that than maybe pay some overtime to do the repair at a more sensible hour, such as 10:00 at night.
On the bright side, I'm glad they've fixed this washboard section of road; it was horrid. -
