Cormorant airlifts Russian crewmember

Early this morning, a Canadian Forces Cormorant helicopter from 103 Search and Rescue Squadron in Gander successfully airlifted a crewmember on board the Russian fishing vessel Novaya Zemlya, located approximately 250 nautical miles east of St. John's.
The crewmember is reported to be in stable condition after suffering from symptoms associated by an apparent medial ailment and has been airlifted to the Health Sciences Centre in St. John's.
