Police investigate sudden death off the northeast coast of Newfoundland

An autopsy is to be carried out after the body of a man was found in the water in Lewisporte Sunday.
Around 8:30 a.m., a 61-year-old man was reported missing from the ferry Sir Robert Bond, which was docked in Lewisporte.
His body was found at the water's edge around 11:15 a.m. about 600 metres from the vessel.
An autopsy is pending to determine the cause of death as police continue their investigation.
