Chris because I am educated, intelligent and aware of the facts, I completely disagree with your statement. To add, doctors already have overwhelming favour with the public as opposed to politicians who come and go and who are often on the wrong side of the law. Do you know anything about supply and demand ? It applies to all products and services.

    That was easy. Next article...

Chris, the NLMA have addressed how an increase in doctors pay will lead to an improved medical system already. Repeatedly.

No doubt we will see more doctors talking about the sad state of affairs with NL's medical system in an attempt to illicit a favorable response from the public.

I'm certainly not fooled. This is about getting the maximum possible pay package for doctors because they feel entitled to it. There will be no benefit to the public, unless of course it is in the best interest to pay for sailboats and hummers for our beloved doctors.

I'm waiting for the NLMA to address how a huge increase in doctors pay will lead to an improved medical system. It won't. It will just lead to starving other government programs like education in order to satisfy their entitlements.

Give the Doctors the same as they gave the Nurses. Simple.
