C.B.S. Bypass closed after single-vehicle accident

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is asking motorists to avoid using the Conception Bay South Bypass Road, due to a single vehicle collision.
According to police, a single vehicle left the road around 1:20 p.m. at the Foxtrap Access Road intersection and rolled several times. Two occupants in the vehicle have been transported to hospital with serious injuries. One was ejected from the vehicle.
The RNC accident investigation and forensic identification units are currently on the scene, with both lanes of the CBS Bypass Road closed to conduct a thorough examination of the roadway.
