RNC to conduct planning emergency preparedness exercise

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary will be engaged in a full-day emergency preparedness exercise in the Pleasantville area Thursday, the police force advises.
The RNC will be in the area of George's Loop in Pleasantville participating in a full mission profile, multi-unit tactical exercise that encompasses all aspects of a strategic police response.
The purpose of the full-day exercise is to evaluate response capacities to assist first responders in establishing best practices.
