American rock legend Steve Miller of the Steve Miller Band, formed in 1967 in San Francisco, Calif., performed at Mile One Centre Tuesday night. The band performed a number of songs from its upcoming album "Bingo!" Local performer Ron Hynes opened up for

Another amazing show by Steve Miller; but with all due respect to Ron Hynes, he was way out of his element as the opening act. Dave Carver would have really brought in the younger audience if he had been smart enough to have Hey! Rosetta or Gramercy Riffs open instead of Hynes.
But, what do you expect from a promoter who picked John Mellencamp over Aerosmith to play here in the mid 90's only to have Mellancamp cancel his outdoor show due to health issues. ... -
