BMO Bank of Montreal has a new vice-president for Newfoundland and Labrador.
The financial institution announced today that Jim Fallon will assume the post.
BMO has 23 branches in the province, staffed by some 235 employees.
Fallon was born in St. John's and has 30 years' experience with BMO Bank of Montreal, including the past seven years as area manager for eastern Newfoundland.
"My commercial colleagues and I look forward to helping local entrepreneurs achieve their business objectives while contributing to the economic growth of Newfoundland and Labrador," Fallon stated in a news release.
BMO is now the second leading lender to small business in Atlantic Canada, with a market share of 26.2 per cent.
