The animals have more brains than their abusive owners. The perpetrators should be banned from owning animals for the rest of their lives. Animal laws are a joke in this province, and the inbred hicks take full advantage.

Well let me say this Steveb..........I guess not feeding a dog or abusing animals will stop all those drunk driver's??? If drunk driver's are not getting sufficient punishment, who's fault is that, the abused animals??? Two wrongs don't make a right and the issue at hand is animal abuse , not drunk driver's. I guess we could bring child abuse into the scenario as well. For god sake, get a grip!! You sound like an animal lover, are ya????

I have to say that I am totally disgusted at the numbers of animal abuse that happens in the province. Instead of things getting better, it has gotten much worse. These poor animals depend on us for their well being and we are letting them down. I was told just recently from an employee with the SPCA that animal abuse has been on the rise. Our Government needs to intervene and get something done. I have to say that the more people I get to know, the more I love my dogs!!!!!!!!!!!!
