Employers need more soldiers in their workforce.
That was the message Lt.-Col. Alex Brennan delivered to the St. John's Board of Trade today.
Brennan is the commander of the Royal Newfoundland Regiment reserve unit, as well as a constable in the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary.
He spoke about the qualities that reservists tend to embody, and how they can be useful to employers.
He also said there is a special relationship between the RNC and the regiment, with 13 reservists working as police officers.
RNC?Chief Bob Johnston was scheduled to speak today, but was forced to cancel due to a case of laryngitis.
