I do not see any benefit in increasing the Canada pension benefit, when the government is clawing all or most of it back from the old age supplement.because of this cruel policy i voted against the Harper government, the case in question being as follows ,when my wife passed away in 2006,i received around one hundred and seventy fife dollars from her Canada pension the government saw fit to take about half that amount from my supplement, how low can you go ,kick him while hes down mentality.

one third of canadians are living on 17 thousand dollars a year, and our prime minister is having an artificial lake built for (how much)? why do we even bother to vote? they do as they please, and we take what they decide to give us, like it or lump it.

    i dont effin think so.

where does the zipperhead of the canadian labour congress think the premiums are going to come from.

this bullsh@t that premiums only have to go up by 3% is misleading garbage. thats 3% of your pay. i pay 285 a month for cpp now. double the premiums and i will be paying hundreds more.

all that to pay for people who for the most part didnt svae a cent during their working lives. thats not my problem, and it shouldnt be.

chances are though, that this is dead in the water. i cant believe even danny williams will tolerate payroll taxes going up by that much.
