MV Sir Robert Bond service to commence this afternoon

The Department of Transportation and Works said today that the MV Sir Robert Bond will depart Lewisporte to begin service between Lewisporte, Cartwright and Happy Valley-Goose Bay at 4 p.m.
The vessel will operate on a revised schedule until Tuesday, July 13, at which time the vessel will pick up its regular schedule departing Happy Valley-Goose Bay at 5 p.m.
Labrador Marine Inc. will resume accepting freight for this service at terminals in Lewisporte, Cartwright and Happy Valley-Goose Bay at 8 a.m. Wednesday. Shippers looking to make arrangements for the shipment of freight should call Labrador Marine Inc. at 709-535-6872.
Passengers requiring information regarding reservations are asked to please contact Labrador Marine, at 1-866-535-2567 from within Newfoundland and Labrador or at 709-535-0810 from outside the province.
