So I don't have the money to hire out for house keeping, nor do I have the need really, but my brother-in-law has a huge house, and has been looking around at house cleaning. It's interesting to see professions like this that aren't exactly main stream, I love learning about stuff like that.

A lot of the places that have a union need a good house cleaning.

im an interprovincial journeyman carpenter. i applied to the carpenters union for membership. sent them my papers and trade #, their response. "no thanks" go get registered with the department of education. i have 3 questions for the unions. 1. how many union people are working somewhere for cash? 2. how many are working in non union positions? 3. how many would have difficulty passing a drug test? all those people are still considered unemployed union members and have the ability to keep others out of the union. i have been a union member most of my adult working life. i agree with being represented by a union but i feel unions need a house cleaning..

ITS not only the trades union the laboures union local 1208 are just as corrupt i live in Chapel ARM just 8kms from long harbour and i have been trying to get a job in long harbour for 3yrs but they wont even look at me or anyone in town. But thay can bring laboures in fro new brunswick and all over the island . meanwhle we have grocery stores closing their doors people gettig kicked out of their houses so the UNION guys can have a place to stay even though they have a camp. How can we have properity in thes little communitys when NO one can get a job .And dont tell me about the spin offs the people that are renting houses in town they go to ST JOHNS to pick up their supplies to feed those UNION workers. I guess the govrnment will just have to keep the lip programs coming theres still lots of ROCKS to move from one place to another SHAME ON THE UNIONS

This is the way it has always been in NL since hibernia days when the union the NLBTC was created. Lets say we take 6 pipefitters apprentices for example and 3 of those apprentices have a family member in the pipefitters union those 3 guys or gals are put into the work force right away because their mommy or daddy works at the local union hall but the other 3 apprentices are discriminated against i know and the union know it. It is about time the union 'NLBTC; SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED.
