It's time to legislate this union back to work and impose a contract. Public safety is a concern here.

The union wants wage parity with employees doing similar work at Halifax's airport, but Keith Collins says that airport is larger and not a relevant comparison ?. Hoh ?. What's relevant here, Mr. Collins, is that if the work is similar, the fact that Halifax airport is larger is irrelevant. I'm not an employee of St. John's International Airport. What the union wants is not unreasonable and simply makes common sense.

A letter in Saturday's Weekend Edition confirmed the 13 directors (who are they?) carted home $269,000.00 each for attending board meetings. What the writer didn't know was how much Collins and his ruling party at the airport are taking home. Care to reveal that when negotiations resume Keith? I won't hold your breath on that one. What hypocrits!

Time to rock and roll Union. Get back to the table and settle this issue now. You have been handed an olive branch.
