$16.2-million Government authorization for renovations. Dunderdale planning on a suite there? The Battery has seen better days, it should be flattened and a proper university oriented structure to replace it. $16.2-million is a good starter.

It sounds great I,m sure it will be nice time it's all done, but I like to know why is it that the government can get away without paying city taxes, but people like me making $30.000 and who chooses to own a home has to pay the highest kind of taxes, half the time we have to choose which bill will I pay this month.

"The former owner of the Battery Hotel said Monday he’s thrilled the site is now under Memorial University ownership." Of course he is thrilled, he sold something he doesn't want !!!!! Anybody would love to get $9.5M for something they don't want.
