Conference sessions being made available online

An annual mining conference held by Scotiabank Global Banking and Markets is underway, with presentations aimed at offering information for investors.

The sessions include a few companies active in Newfoundland and Labrador. They are being made available on the web for anyone interested.

At 8:30 a.m. EST today, there will be a session will be held entitled “Iron Ore: Economics of the Trough.” It will include representatives from companies active on the Labrador side of the border, including Alderon Iron Ore.

At 3:15 p.m. EST, “The ‘Other’ Royalty Companies” are featured, including Altius Minerals.

Scotiabank staff have cautioned the forum agenda is subject to change, but the conference will be archived online for three months: www.gbm.scotiabank.com.
