McInnes Cooper and Ottenheimer Baker join to form province’s largest law firm

St. John’s law firm McInnes Cooper announced today that law firm Ottenheimer Baker will be joining its team.

A news release today said the firms will officially become one in McInnes Cooper’s St. John’s office on Jan. 2 — a combined complement of 48 lawyers making McInnes Cooper Newfoundland and Labrador’s largest law firm.

“McInnes Cooper is continually focused on finding strategic opportunities to provide the best services our clients need and expect,” said Ray Adlington, managing partner and Chief Executive Officer, of McInnes Cooper.

John Baker of Ottenheimer Baker said the skills and experiences of each firm’s lawyers complement each other.

“As part of the McInnes Cooper team, we can grow the opportunities we all have and better serve our clients,” he said.

McInnes Cooper was founded in 1859. It has more than 200 lawyers in offices throughout the Atlantic region.
