National Airlines’ non-stop service between St. John’s and Orlando, Florida will run Mondays and Fridays.

Company offering new alternative to existing services to and from St. John’s

Today is the first day for National Airlines’ non-stop service between St. John’s and Orlando, Florida.

The new service will run Mondays and Fridays and information provided by the airline says travellers can expect free check-in of one bag, pet-friendly cabins and free snack and beverage service.

National Airlines operates two passenger planes, Boeing 757-200 aircraft.

They are additions to parent National Air Cargo Holdings’ operations — more than 20 years — in customized cargo and charter flights.

Current flights run in and out of Orlando, Florida’s Sanford International Airport (SFB), with three destinations: Windsor, Ont.; St. John’s, NL and San Juan, Puerto Rico.

    It is going to be hard to pay for the pilots when they only operates two passenger planes. They must have a lot of cargo on those B-757s.
