Lisa Browne edges Fred Best with eight of 14 polls reporting The Packet

With slightly more than half the votes counted, Lisa Browne is leading the mayor's race in Clarenville with 470 votes, just 18 votes ahead of incumbent Fred Best, who has 452.

The leading six in the councillors' race are still Frazer Russell, John Pickett, Bill Bailey, Heber Smith, Rod Nicholl and Keith Rodway.
