Newfoundland Labrador Housing (Housing) has awarded a $546,000 contract to 10736 NF Inc. to replace the roofs on two apartment buildings in Pleasantville in St. John's.
Tom Marshall, acting Minister of Transportation and Works and Minister Responsible for Housing, made the announcement today.
"These projects are part of ongoing modernization and improvement projects throughout the province, which will ensure our housing infrastructure is being upgraded and maintained to appropriate standards," Marshall said. "It's also good to see the positive economic benefits of these investments."
According to a news release, the upgrades and repairs are part of Housing's annual Modernization and Improvement program. The anticipated completion date for this project is early 2010.
