A Clothes Swap will be held at Wesley United, 101 Patrick St., Saturday, June 12, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Bring your unwanted clothing and leave with as much as you want. Cost $3 with clothes, $6 without clothes. Women of all ages and sizes welcome.

Fundraising walks

° The Wal-mart Walk for Miracles, in aid of the Janeway Children's Health and Rehabilitation Centre, will be held Sunday, June 13 at Quidi Vidi Lake. On site pledge/donation collections will start at 8 a.m. and the walk will begin at 10 a.m. To register or for more information, visit www.walmartwalkformiracles.ca or ask for pledge forms at any Wal-mart location.

° The Heart and Stroke Foundation Heart and Sole Walk for Heart will take place in Bowering Park Sunday, June 13 at 10 a.m. For more information, call 753-8521 or visit www.heartandstroke.ca.

° The first annual walk for ALS 2010 will be held starting at the Reid Centre in Mount Pearl Sunday, June 13, at 2 p.m. Registration begins 12:30 p.m. Bring family and friends.

° The Eating Disorder Foundation of Newfoundland and Labrador's Walk of Hope is scheduled for Sunday, June 13 at the Long Pond Walking Trail by the Fluvarium beginning at 2 p.m. For additional information you can visit our website www.edfnl.ca or call Tina at 722-0500.
