Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador conventions will continue to rotate after all.
The motion, one which proposed to have all future conventions held in St. John's only, was officially overturned at the annual general meeting in Corner Brook Saturday morning.
Corner Brook Mayor Charles Pender brought forth the motion earlier this year and it was actually passed by membership at an emergency meeting Friday but was not officially accepted by the board until the general meeting.

Give it a rest G-Man. The only reason St. John's survived is because of the work that was done outside of the overpass. We are all Newfoundlanders. Get over this stupid inside/outside overpass, townie/bayman BS. Newfoundlanders are sometimes their own worst enemies.

What G-Man also needs to be reminded...if there was no outside the overpass, there would be no inside the overpass.
