iPad going on sale Friday

The iPad goes on sale in Canada on Friday morning and will be available at Best Buy and Future Shop stores, in addition to Apple's retail shops.
Apple's 16 stores in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec, which will open early at 8 a.m.
Best Buy and Future Shop - including the Future Shop on Stavanger Drive in St. John's - will also have the iPad at stores across the country.
The Wi-Fi models with 16, 32 and 64-gigabytes of storage are priced at $549, $649 and $749.
The 3G models $679, $779 and $879 respectively.
Customers are advised to "get there early."
