The Atlantic Lottery website reports two winning tickets were sold for Friday's $50 million Lotto Max jackpot.
It says one was sold in Western Canada and the other in Happy Valley Goose Bay, Nfld. Each ticket is worth $25 million.
The website also says that 29 of the 55 $1 million Maxmillion prizes up for grabs were also won last night, with the winners spread from coast to coast.
It seems the third time was the charm.
The previous two Lotto Max draws had failed to produce any big jackpot winners, driving up Friday's potential cash payout to a Canadian lottery record of over $105 million.
The jackpot for next Friday's Lotto Max draw will be an estimated $30 million.
