TORONTO - Manager Ryan Nelsen says once Toronto FC sorts out its salary cap issues, it will make its presence felt in MLS.
In fact, Nelsen says there will be — in his words — "a few frightened teams" around the league.
The 2-10-7 club has been shedding salary cap obligations in recent weeks to free up money to sign new players.
Toronto is a little thin in the interim.
And the club will be without injured strikers Danny Koevermans and Robert Earnshaw when the 9-7-4 New York Red Bulls visit Saturday.
