Newfoundland and Labrador police arrest two youths after numerous thefts

TRINITY CONCEPTION, N.L. - Two male youths in Newfoundland and Labrador are facing several charges after numerous theft complaints.

RCMP in Bay Roberts, on the north shore of Conception Bay, say they've received complaints of thefts from motor vehicles for several days. The most recent was Friday night.

Police say they arrested the two boys Friday night.

They face several charges including theft under $5,000, possession of stolen property and failure to comply with a youth probation order.

Police say one of the boys is also facing arson charges in connection with a vehicle fire in Clarke's Beach on Friday night.

The investigation is ongoing.
