Man wanted in connection with stabbing turns himself in to police

CAMPBELLTON, N.B. - RCMP in New Brunswick say a man will appear in court Monday on charges in connection with a stabbing in Campbellton.

They say Joey Albert of Campbellton turned himself in to police Tuesday.

The 23-year-old faces charges of aggravated assault and break and enter, and remains in custody.

Police say officers were called Sunday to a home on Dufferin Street where a man in his 20s had been stabbed.

The Mounties say he remains in hospital.
