HAMILTON - Police say there has been a "significant development" in the case of a southern Ontario man who vanished more than a week ago.

Hamilton police are holding a news conference at 10 a.m. to give an update on their investigation into Tim Bosma's disappearance.

Bosma, 32, went missing last Monday after going on a test drive with two men in his black Dodge Ram pickup truck, which he had posted for sale online.

Police have arrested one suspect — 27-year-old Dellen Millard — and are seeking a second man, who has not been identified.

Millard is charged with forcible confinement and theft over $5,000, charges his lawyer says he intends to fight.

On Monday, investigators were planning to search a trailer they said belongs to Millard after spotting a black pickup inside.

They couldn't confirm whether the truck is Bosma's.
